So when it comes to pleasure flying, instead of flying like this...

.

Posted Image

.Magnification 1.5X

.

.

.

.

.

...I'd rather fly like this, enjoying a better view with brighter, more colorful lighting:

.

Posted Image

.

Also magnification 1.5X, as many of my shots are. Is how I "fly".

Then suddenly, a small amusement park being set-up at 21D4, Sliverwood.

You just never know what you'll find in FTX scenery.

Gear, flaps, ready to take her on in.

Another cool flyby...

.

.

.

.

.

Posted Image

.

...is always a good thing.

.

.

.

.

.

Posted Image

.

Challenging landing, 3 to 5 knot variable crosswinds with mild turbulence.

.

.

.

.

.

Posted Image

.

Not too bad...

.

.

.

.

.

Posted Image

.

...then a slight over-correction finds me landing a bit left of center. Touchdown, Porthill Eckhart International with its 3650 foot runway. :)

Posted Image

.

Just can't get enough of this fantastic scenery, man.

.

.

Then pulling up to the pump, my drop tanks magically appear when the fuel is auto-filled!

(they are also attached in the latter landing shots, which were captured in "Replay" after having pulled up to the pump already)

.

.

Thanks for flying along with me. Hope you enjoyed the ride! ~David~

Thanks so much, guys. :) Nice to find a good response here this a.m.

Have received an email from a buddy, informing me that I'd blown on by

Porthill Eckhart Int'l & went across the Motherland's border to land at

CAJ3, Creston. The hospitality of our Canadian friends is good, though.

They have me in a nice room with a one-way door for a while but the

food is great & the people friendly. Hoping to be on my way soon...

No problems, am out & a free man once again. Just kept jabbering until the novelty of my presence wore off. They are likely enjoying more peace & quiet now.

Great folks north of the border. Cool accents, subtle but endearing. Posted Image Their jails are much more civilized too, I will add.
