Matthew Kane
It is believed it was an Air New Zealand pilot descending into Christchurch Airport when he spotted a Shark flying around at several Thousand feet above the ground when he called it into ATC. It turns out the shark was a 1.44-metre-long helium filled radio control toy that got away. Gave the pilot a bit of a fright seeing a shark flying that high above the ground I am sure: http://www.stuff.co....ilot-look-twice Cheers
