Derek McAllan
G'day all, I've got a couple of different flights here for your enjoyment today, rather than post separate topics I've just combined them into one. The first one up is a flight I did last night, running from Coff's Harbour down to Port Macquarie in the seminal C152 from Carenado, with added Squeeker-ness via his superb HD RACWA Aerobat repaint. Strap in, off we go! Climbing out from Coff's Harbour, it's a bright and sunny afternoon, with the chance of some frontal activity in the air. Looks like there might be a bit of rain over the hills to the West, but the weather's looking great ahead. Oooooh, cloudstreets Nearly down to Port Macquarie, with a bit more weather building behind. Arriving Port Macquarie, and looks like I'm just in time as the front moves in. Flight number 2 was made today, back in my usual territory - SW West Oz. Taking off from Cunderdin in the Carenado C208B, I made a dash ahead of building storm fronts down to Narrogin. Wing-cam shot taking during the climb out. Cloudbase was quite low and the weather was looking quite threatening, so I'm staying down at 4500' for the trip. Yeah, getting some nice rain storms around the place now. The WX radar makes avoiding the worst of them easy though. Cumulonimbus dropping rain over the wheatbelt and some horrid low level stratus down below. Good for the farmers. Parked up at Narrogin as the sun peeks out between showers. Hope you like, please feel free to leave comments and criticism Cheers, Derek

etrpilot
Really nice shots. I also like how you have presented them with the frames. Also I was wondering are you running multiple monitors or are you cropping the images? Eric
Derek McAllan
Cheers folks, more to come soon Really nice shots. I also like how you have presented them with the frames. Also I was wondering are you running multiple monitors or are you cropping the images? Eric I always frame my screenies as it finishes them off nicely. I only run a single monitor, so most of my very wide aspect shots are cropped. Sometimes, however, my wide shots are composite panoramas, made up of several images (the largest I've done had 60!!). To illustrate:- This is a cropped single screen image Whereas this is a composite panorama made from around 6 overlapping full screens warped and stitched then exposures edited to match. It covers about 270 degrees of horizon. Thanks for the interest! Cheers, Derek
