realatp
Is that Jacobs Well, as in the JCW VOR near Brisbane? I fly over that VOR all the time on my way out too Coffs in the JS4100, never realized there was a field down there.

markwlee
To get to YJCW Heckfield Jacob's Well* (see attached GE screenie): Start at the AFCADed Mason Field YSPT Southport. Takeoff, then head 330 for 6NM to land at Tiger Moth Field. Takeoff from TMF then head 330 for 2NM to land at YJCW. Fly around a bit and you'll soon learn the landmarks. From YJCW, you'll probably want to head to YDUN, YBCX, YTGA, etc. Watch in 720HD - maybe use latest youtube downloader. I was at Southport for sport a fortnight ago and saw VH-TSG down from TMF doing aeros near the highrise and then SS-1970 from YJCW fly over sounding like a Victa 2-stroke and crabbing in the light breeze. Check out the GCSFC site as per amentiba's recommendation. (I've had a fly in this Foxbat (Rick Piper freeware) from YJCW over at YDUN, too) *beware standing water in Summer.
