Finally...new 8m screen is complete  :)

John wanted me to post a couple of pics showing 180 FOV ORBX scenery.

Now I can get back to finishing the Sim (again)...!

Lost for words... simply stunning and envy!...

My wife just about accepts a computer and screen in the spare room...

She keeps all her hair stuff in there too but I said it's gotta go soon for the cockpit conversion.. and since 911 I keep the door closed and issue her with a unique knocking code to gain entry to the flight deck!  :P

Can I just add one funny story....

Just a few years ago, I thought i was in heaven with my CHYoke and 19"LCD.

Example: Postage for a swtich or two is usually more than ONE ORBX add-on...thats when you really really

really apprectiate what JV does here...a full size Sim puts things into perspective,

I almost feel guilty sometimes LOL.

I wish, Dave.

I did some mech drawings last week and knocked up some cardboard models to make sure it all fits in my modules before I start building, but nothing I've got planned comes even close to this.

What a work of art!

Today I told a friend of mine (didn´t see your pics at this time), if I would have the choice between a new Porsche and a homebuild simulator like yours that I would buy the simulator...:) He just shaked his head.

This thing is awesome!!!

Moritz,

That was exactly my choice....not a porsche...but a nice car or boat or something.

I'll take the Sim anytime...shes allways waiting there for me :)

Some more info: the visuals are made up of three independant  views running  on three i7 920's which in turn

drive three projectors, total res. of 3840X 800. The image is then warped and blended to give you what you see.
