smaze17
So, when I zoom in to the So Cal scenery, there appears to be "lakes" or small bodies of water. . They are there when viewing from the cockpit, and when zoomed in they get bigger. I've attached an image. Not sure if this should go in support but I thought I'd ask here first. Thanks. Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. Can you say which simulator, where that is and what it is that you perceive to be a problem please?
Dadtom65
Hi smaze17. To me it looks like a mountain range. If you could show the actual Lakes that would help people to help you. They are are a great bunch of guys here, and they will get you sorted. Plus welcome to the Forums. Thanks Derek.
smaze17
X-Plane 11. I've circled the areas I'm referring to. These discolorations get bigger when zoomed in. It's definitely not part of the mountain range.
Jon Clarke
Need a location please as it would be necessary to see for ourselves at the location you are taking these pics at.
smaze17
This is near the Gorman VOR. But it happens all over So Cal.
smaze17
Looks like this happens with the stock XP scenery so maybe it's just a grfx setting?

Jon Clarke
I have slightly rearranged your scenery_packs.ini but this will not resolve you reported issue. just a optimised layering adjustment. I am afraid i see nothing in the Log file indicating any installation error or missing scenery tiles. If you want to post a pic of your XP settings I can take a look and see if there is a setting that may need adjusting. scenery_packs.ini
