Hi Jon

Thanks for your reply. Checked as suggested. E:drive (temp location) is 500GB with 375GB free space. F:drive X-plane directory and Orbx backup is 4TB with 3011GB free space. Tried install again but still same error. (screenshots attached).

All 3 GB South ,Central and North were installed and had no issues previously. Have run X-Plane and GB South and GB Central are  OK with no issues.

Please try the following first:

Run Verify files and see if it resolves the issue. If not then immediately after the attempted Verify attach your Orbx Central log file via Orbx Central/settings/help.

Last resort is to ensure to delete any backup copy (see the attached pic for the location of a Backup copy if that option is still enable marked in Green)) and then reboot and reinstall TEGB North.

Let me know the results.

Hi  Jon

Have tried your suggestions but no luck. Ran Verify Files and have attached log file as requested. Removed backup files, Un-ticked auto backup box and rebooted. But still error message of files failing to extract and convert.

TE GB North log.txt 243.47 kB · 0 downloads

The log is full of messages about:

"[ERROR] Failed to copy file to the destination: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery/Orbx_D_GB_North_TrueEarth_Orthos/Earth nav data/+50-010/+56-005.dsf" etc

I need to get the Orbx Central team to look at what these error messages mean unless @Nick Cooper can shed some light on this, if not then Nick please pass over to the Orbx Central support forum. Thanks

I apologise that this has not been moved to the correct Orbx Central support forum

In the meantime if you would be good enough to try and install again and if it fails then attach your latest Orbx Central log file via Orbx Central/settings/help.

I need the log info to be the very latest after an unsuccessful install attempt.

HI @Edward Harvie

The following on your log files indicates that Orbx Central is having trouble finding or accessing the F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\

folder.

Does the F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\ folder exist? Is it a strict folder or a shortcut/symlink/junction etc? What do the contents of the folder look like?

Hi @Edward Harvie

The screenshot of your custom scenery folder has every other product installed directly into the simulator as a regular folder but the TrueEarth GB North appear as shortcuts.

Can you perform the following:

  1. Ensure there are no active jobs in the Orbx Central download queue.
  2. Remove all shortcuts from the Custom Scenery directory that have GB_North in their name.
  3. Reattempt the installation of the product
