Everytime i run the sim (mini Clip)

Recommended Posts

Hola

Ok

Saludos,

Carlos

it pops up again

Hello Jwcruz,

Right click on your P3Dv5 icon on your desktop, select Properties at the bottom of the menu.

Select the Security tab, highlight your name or Administrator, Left click on Edit, make sure your name or Admin is highlighted, click in Full Control box, Apply and OK.

P3Dv5 will now be run as Admin at all times.

Yea I have but I haven’t installed them yet

Ok good

I would do:

01.- Uninstall everything you have in your Central

02.- Delete your scenery cfg file

03.- Run Central to create a new one, close the sim

04.- Run Central and install all the products, close Central

05.- Run the sim and add ALL the products by clicking on YES, close the sim

06.- Start the sim and confirm the issue is gone

Regards

Sounds like either config files are set to read only, or that there are a lack of permissions, possibly inherited to the config files.

Anyway my experience with using the P3D add-ons manager shows it to be completely buggy and horribly unreliable (I've a lot of items added via the xml method).

Best option is to use the Lorby Prepar3D Addon Organizer, it is able to manage the multiple add-ons.cfg files P3D uses, as well as the scenery.cfg.

The tool also allows the ability to layer and order scenery that has been added via the xml method.

And if you've problems with your add-ons.cfg or scenery.cfg files the tool will in all likelyhood point them out to you.

Also read the manual first, cannot emphasise more, the whole add-ons.cfg / scenery.cfg combo with the use of multiple add-ons.cfg files can be complex and cludgy.

The download file is password protected, password is in the download blurb.

Cheers
