Stewart Hobson
When flying past or merely starting a flight at KBVY, one of the Global NA Freeware airports, P3D crashes. Crash detection is "off". Event viewer shows a KERNALBASE.dll error. I realize this type of error is difficult to pin down, but why at this particular airport? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. Stewart Hobson
Thanks, Smudger. I'm still using v4.5 and won't be installing v5 until the dust settles. This error is notoriously difficult to track down, it would seem from others' queries on the 'net. I'm curious why it seems to be associated with this airport. Nick Cooper
Hello Stewart, this is a stab in the dark. Please try the attached two files instead. ADE_FTX_FTXG_KBVY.bgl FTX_FTXG_KBVY_objects.bgl
Nick Cooper
The original doesn't crash mine though.

Stewart Hobson
Hi, Nick. No joy! KBVY still crashes the sim. I'll just avoid the place, but it would be interesting to find out what is causing the problem. Maybe disable the freeware airport altogether and see what happens? edit to add: It's interesting that the two files you supplied are larger than the ones I have. Also, disabling the three airport files for KBVY didn't solve the problem either. So would you advise uninstalling and reinstalling Global Airports? Stewart Hobson
Follow up: Uninstalled and re-installed Global Airports, but KBVY still crashes the sim. Oh, well. Still looking for a reason for this.
