active YBBN - planes overlap and black textures across all scenery

Hi. Had a similar problem with another Orbx product which was resolved. Found the same here at YBBN. Any ideas?

 

Did the Sync Sim in Orbx Central but no change. Verified files also.

the last time, the solution was to apply the Australia v2 update to the airport.

Have you done that to this one yet at all?

Orbx Central says Vn 2.0.0 is installed and up to date? I'll try a Verfify Files with Aus v2?

The latest version of YBBN is version 1.3.1.

Is there a tick box for Australia v2 in the control panel for YBBN and if so, is it ticked?

I just purchased YBBN and it is 1.3.1. The Aus v2 box in YBBN is ticked.

 

PS Looks like 2 different AC this time? 747 and 737?

Other hangers with AC look okay. Just the far one with 2 AC overlapping.

Looking at my copy of YBBN, there is no static aircraft at that position, there is one but it is at the other side.

I must conclude that your duplicates could well be AI aircraft and nothing to do with the product.

You could try reducing AI aircraft to None and see if they are gone.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling YBBN, check that there is no FTX_AU\FTXAA_YBBN folder

and try again.

Okay... one of the AC now gone. Not sure how I did that... have re-ordered Scenery Library a bit. But now ground scenery textures gone! Any ideas?

It's everywhere now. Not just around Orbx airports. Like something is not being read from or pointed to in Libraries. But I have verified Libraries already.

I installed Port McQuarie, Coffs Harbour, Broome before this happened. Don't think that should have upset things. I did have the old Port McQ installed before (free version). Is that going to clash with the new YPMQ and do this?

another possibility is the freeware fix for the Orbx lighting, of which this can be a side effect.

download the fix and check whether or not you have installed it.

If you extract the files, you can see if you have them already.

I've never run dx10 and the black areas are swathes of landscape unrelated to lit areas in and around airfields. So not smaller squares or blobs.
