Airwolf
Hi guys, I really appreciate @John Venema honesty in the topic created about openLC Africa and Asia. I was just wondering has Orbx ever thought of having a openLC Asia Lite edition - more like something Scenerytech did years and years ago - just having the landclass without the textures (If I recall their entire package was less than 50 mb). This way LC can use the textures from Global and arrange them where farm lands go, cities go etc with help from Vector All the sim has to do is call the openLC or texture placement and use Global textures which are already there in the sim. Even using textures from openLC Europe+NA+SA should help. I could be technically off in my entire understanding on how openLC addons work, as I am "assuming" in my understanding here - It is just that I have invested a lot in P3D and at least intend to use for the next few years; flying over Everest/Nepal would be so cool. Thanks for taking time to read this post Orbx Dev Team
Captain Lars
Excellent idea. Still better than nothing.
xuehua china
Good question, but I don't know if it will.
Juanvito
If we're not going to get Asia (never mind Siberia and Oceania), this could be a consolation. I have SceneryTech, IMO the quality is.. uneven.
Airwolf
I will take consolation addon by Orbx for this. It will atleast complete the whole world in my P3D and FSX-SE (I only keep this for pmdg MD-11 lol)
