Pilot
Hi, I just bought LSZS and I see a weird mesh formation. Uppon installation I had an elevation edge around the airport, I guess because I use FS Global Next Gen. I then used the PILOT's AFM Configurator to exclude LSZS. Uppon launching P3D, I do not have the mesh elevation edge anymore, but I notice these hill lake formations. Is this how the scenery is supposed to look? Nick Cooper
Hello, I would imagine that the Pilot's AFM has amended the level of the terrain which now does not match the level of the water. "FS Global NextGen" has not and will not be tested with Orbx products.

I guess many will have this issue..
Pilot
Okay, I just realized that the mesh issue around the airport happens even if I disable FS Global. So it should be something else.. This is an image of the problem. Any ideas?
Pilot
Anyone has the same issue maybe?
Pilot
Ok, I seem to fixed the issue, by moving the FTX_AA_LSZS entry on the top of the scenery library. Don't know though why it happened.
Pilot
I was fast to report it solved. Looking more closely after launching the sim again, the problem is still there.. I am open for any suggestions.
Pilot
This is the problem as seen from the other end of the runway. You can clearly see that the airport sits on a plateau.
Pilot
@Nick Cooper, I see that you have labeled this thread "aswered" however I don't know if you have seen what I have written after your reply. I still have the issue even after I disable all FS Global entries. So, could you please help me solve this problem?
Nick Cooper
Hello, I have no more ideas, sorry. Perhaps the developer can help you out. @Andreas Hegi
Andreas Hegi
Hi Pilot, I am sorry you ran into mesh problems with our scenery. I wonder if an other Samedan scenery is active at your end? Because if I look at the outline of the plateau like airport and runway area it looks like from an other product. My flatten for the airport has an other outline. This should suppress other flattens but doesn't obviously at your end. I will pass on your question to our specialist for such issues @Holger Sandmann. May be he has an answer and solution. Pilot
Thank you very much for the reply @Andreas Hegi I have never installed another Samedan airport before..It's really weird, since yesterday I'm trying to find the problem but I can't.. Nick Cooper
Did it fix your problem?
AnkH
Could it be that the problem arises if you have the freeware airport EU pack installed? There, a slightly improved LSZS variant is included. I deleted the two files related to LSZS out of my ORBX Freeware Airport folder and I have no issues with mesh...
Nick Cooper
Hello, they should have been disabled by the installer.....
Pilot
Hello, Thank you for asking @Nick Cooper i come after a full re-install of Windows, Prepar3D and ORBX. After initial installing of PILOT's mesh and ORBX products I did not have the problem. I experienced weird textures in various locations that I solved by uninstalling and reinstalling FTX Global and LC products. After keep installing all my add-ons, returing to Samedan, I still see a step around the airport but less noticeable this time. I will post a screenshot when home. I do not have the freeware pack installed. It is really weird..
