newtie2
Hi- I enabled advanced layering in ORBX Central. Does this look correct? Are the ORBX libraries supposed to be at the bottom above KMRY? What are 'Libraries Global' and 'Libraries Lookup'? Are they positioned correctly? I'm seeing some bizarre graphics at KTVL but thought I would start here first. Thanks, Mark Quote Your Central log file provides us important information, please attach it to your support requests. You can find it at the following locations, or by pressing Control + Shift + L. Nick Cooper
Hello, if by "bizarre graphics", you mean dual levels after updating P3D to version 4.5.13.32097, there is an update available for the airport.
newtie2
I'll check the airport when I get home. I'm pretty sure I downloaded the most recent a few days ago. Back to my original question; has the advanced layering function got everything in the right spot? Thanks, Mark
Nick Cooper
Hello, I would have expected the airports to be above NCA. I don't think that the position of the Orbx Libraries is critical. I do not have Simstarter and also have not migrated my previously installed products to an Orbx Central Library. Hopefully, tomorrow one of the Orbx Central developers will answer you. Is the problem with KTVL with a "double layer" or something else?
newtie2
Hi Nick- I have the most recent KTVL. I dropped all Megasenery states below everything. Not much change. This is what I'm seeing. Note the static jet on the left with runway texture up to belly and what appears to be stock hangers coming out of the ORBX terminal. Cheers, Mark
Nick Cooper
Thanks, can you move KTVL up your scenery library, so that it is above NCA, where it is supposed to be?
newtie2
It won't work. Tried that.Tried "Sync Simulator" and it appeared to have put KTVL above NCA, but put KMRY at the bottom. Tried to manually move KMRY up, after save, goes right back to the bottom. It always reverts back to the position you see here. It's not SimStarter; Lorby's Addon Manager exhibits the same thing, that is, you can't move it and have it stick. I think somethings up with this ORBX Central thing. Anyone else have these problems? Is the older version FTX Central still available? I might try that. Thanks, Mark
Nick Cooper
Hello, I do find that it is very tricky trying to use three different utilities to manage P3D scenery, so I do not do so. please go to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg and look for [Package.XX] PATH=Your Orbx Central Scenery Library\p3dv4\KTVL Lake Tahoe Airport ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false Make sure that there is no "Layer=" line and if there is, delete it. Then try resynchronise simulator again. Then restart P3D v4 and see where it is in the scenery library.
Mitchell Williamson
Hi Mark, Please run 'Sync Simulator' and then attach your Central log file. This will help us see what Central is doing.
