Orbx Flyer
I recently downloaded the latest XP11 beta...and it seems there are new engine exhaust effects. The first flight with the 172...I thought I had an engine fire...but even the Baron has the effects you can see here... The other thought, was that I have never seen such real life output upon the screen from any current flight simulation platform, like XP11 plus any Orbx TE product for it. I mean folks...TEWA and now the three current airport releases, with surrounding coverage, is simply phenomenal...wow... 74S around 5:45 AM in the morning.... VH-KDK
WOnderful images and the Baron is probably my favourite plane to fly in XP. The TE scenery is unbelievable isn't it!

Jack Sawyer
Very good shots but I don't see the new exhaust effect. I didn't know there was a new beta, what version number is it?

Yeah, I guess in the early morning, it didn't capture it very well..but, if you look closely in the first shot...behind the engine nacelles...you'll see some grey smudges emitting from the engines...that's the effect, and there is more, or less, depending upon throttle position.
