resolved Elevation / Display Issues at Ketchikan with Pacific Fjords

Hi everyone. I recently purchased the Pacific Fjords add-on, and with it installed I get some strange display issues located at PAKT, Ketchikan.

 

As you can see in my attached images the ocean isn't visible, the buildings surrounding the area aren't visible, and several aspects of the airport appear to be at mismatching elevations.

 

Relevant info:

 - This is the only ORBS payware product I own.

- The only other scenery add-ons I have are some of the scenes from Return to Misty Moorings, but I do not have them activated.

- My scenery order looks like this:

 

     - RTMM sceneries (All Deactivated)

     -  FTX NA PFJ05 SCENERY

     - FTX_NA_PFJ06_CVX

     - FTX_NA_PFJ07_MESH

     - FTX_NA_PFJ08_CUSTOM

     - FTX_ZZ_GLOBAL_AIRPORTS

     - Addon Scenery

     - Edwards_AFB

     - Berlin

     ... etc.

 

 - My visual settings match what is described in the User Manual

Could you please post a copy of your active scenery.cfg file?

 

Do you have the Orbx Libraries installed?

Here is my config. I don't think I have any libraries - all I installed was the global freeware airport pack, and the Pacific Fjords.

Thanks, but that is a default scenery.cfg with no Orbx products installed. Please look in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX for the active scenery.cfg.

 

And you will need to install the Orbx Libraries for your scenery to work.

I am having the same problems as those depicted in his screen shots. I had read that I needed to put the Tongas files down below all the Orbx files in my scenery library as shown in my attached cfg.

Any help will be appreciated.

Shouldn't all those addon scenery entries be placed above the Orbx entries?  Use the Insertion Tool found in FTX Central at the Settings button on the lower left of the main screen.

That being said, Tongass Fjords doesn't include the Ketchikan area and thus the missing water must have another cause. Is the problem limited to Ketchikan or are you missing water in other FTX Regions too?

Thanks! Not having the ORBX libraries installed was the problem. Once I installed them everything is working correctly.
