Dreamsofwings1
Flew in here the other day and all looked great. Since then I haven't changed any settings and started a flight today and I now seem to have a ground texture issue where layers seem to be fighting? I have included a quick video that shows this issue better as it changes with altitude. Higher up you can see the runway though it flickers at a very high frequency. Adam Banks
Mine appears to be fine - at whatever zoom or altitude I try. A few questions: 1)What's your mesh resolution set to? 2) Are you running with FTX ENG enabled as well? 3) Have you tried running the AEC (elevation correction) tool? Adam. Mesh is set to 5m 2. This is FTX Eng. I have TE GB unticked. 3. Yes tried that too. As I mentioned the odd thing is, this airport was looking fine the other day. Nick Cooper
Hello, probably the quickest way to a solution is to verify files for EU England.

Hi Nick, Tried that but unfortunately no improvement. Something I have noticed on taking a close look is that some, but not all of the tarmac areas are raised. The runway doesn't appear to be. I have Pilots Ultimate Next Generation installed but NOT ticked. Could this have somehow made a lasting change to the mesh here perhaps?
Dreamsofwings1
Just some more images. Went down to Bournemouth Airport and the scenery there looks fine so does seem localised to Lee-on-Solent. An area of raised taxiways
Nick Cooper
Hello, where are you getting all that AI from please? the product does not park any on this grass. I would think it likely that whatever is misplacing the AI aircraft is also adversely affecting your airport.
Dreamsofwings1
Hi Nick, I only have Orbx installed in this region. Can’t think of anything else I have installed that would be putting AI in here, let alone messing with the mesh. Could this be something going on between FTX Eng and TE GB? I have the TE GB unticked. Nick Cooper
Hello, Sorry, now I see that the aircraft are statics. Your screen shots are really quite difficult to replicate. Evidently there is something affecting your airport that is not affecting anyone else's. Perhaps a look at your scenery.cfg file would be helpful. Dreamsofwings1
Thanks Nick, really appreciate you taking the time to look at this issue, especially on a Saturday!! Have attached my scenery.cfg scenery.cfg
Nick Cooper
Thanks, nothing wrong there either. What elso could you have changed? Do you use aerodata or similar to update navaids?
Dreamsofwings1
I don't think so Nick. I've not updated P3D with anything that I am aware of. I have used P3D data to update Little Navmap, and I have the Flight1 GTN but I don't think that updates P3D. If I wanted to reset the data as a precaution would it be a case of reinstalling P3D scenery Module?
Dreamsofwings1
Just to top and tail this, having re activated TE GB after the update I am not seeing this issue on the runway anymore
