robespierre
I have prepared some screenshots for the person asking about FSX and Lincs. I cannot upload them using the IMGUR uploader as suggested by Tim Harris-the images just won't upload. Am I missing something obvious?
BradB
I assume you have created a IMGUR account and logged in , after that just drag and drop into the box . Cheers John
Nick Cooper
Hello, do you mean that they just will not upload to Imgur or that they just will not upload to this forum?
robespierre
Seems I have some way solved this problem-see images in relevant post. I converted The bmp files created by the 'v' screenshot into JPEG using an online converter and these jpg's upoaded into imgur(this was the problem I was having) and then I followed the instructions by Tim Harris for a successful copy and paste into reply. Is there an option in FSX to render v screenshots as jpeg? Anthony.

I think P3D went with both BMP and JPEG. But I could be wrong. Anyway, looking forward to some shots and if you need a walk-through on IMGUR lemme know. Cheers! Nick Cooper
Hello, FSX does indeed only produce bmp files and they are indeed far too big to upload to Imgur. The best method is to use either the built in Paint program or the freeware paintdotnet to resize the images to around 1000 pixels wide, keeping the aspect ratio and then save them as jpg files. A 2560 x 1440 FSX bmp file is 14 mb. The same image after processing as above is 124 kb
