answered Southampton Issue and Performance Lacking

Hi,

 

I have recently noticed that I'm experiencing reduced framerates to what I originally enjoyed when I first tried GB South and Southampton. I just received a message about Southampton not loading when I attempted to start a flight in the Hawk from Gatwick (EGKK).

 

Any ideas?

I do not have OrbX Southampton, only OrbX true Earth.

Okay edited this post because the below errors are red herrings.

They were present in 11.3b1 as well and in another install I had no issues b1 or b2 so my issue is probably something else irrelevant to your issue.

It looks like you don't have ORBXLibs installed, so Southampton is missing some objects. Install this, and all should be good:

I didn't know anything about ORBXLibs for XP, I knew about it for the ESP versions. I've had KCGX Meigs & Monument Valley working fine without it since they were released.

I've noticed something else about my scenery_packs.ini file. It has the line -   SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery//   listed 3 times. Is that correct?

No it is not, you should not have empty ini... delete the ini let the sim rebuild it and adjust the A B C accordingly, remember that the ORBX overlays MUST be below the global, airports and London.

 

Xplane scenery priority is very simple, especially if you come from P3D or FSX.
