Mike5199
Hi, Does anyone know the reason why I am not getting any runway/taxiway lights at night at NZQN? Is it an Objectflow problem?
I.J.
Same here. I'm not sure if there SHOULD be taxi lights at all, but the rwy light poles are there. And I remember them shining in P3Dv3.
I.J.
I"m buisy to migrate to P3Dv4.3 and I'm still discovering... Same problem at AYPY (no rwy lights at all), NSTU (rwy lights visible from a short distance only); 1S2 (no lights at all)... It looks like "older sceneries'" lighting systems have not been updated to P3Dv4 standards which unfortunately make these airports quite unusable in poor and dark conditions. Waiting for updates? I.J.
Yep, after the last Orbxlibs' update rwy lights are back at these airports. Except NZQN where I still don't see them. Do you, Mike5199?
NZFlyer
Same issue - No lights whatsoever at NZQN (Night only - Dusk OK). Latest ORBXLibs are installed.
Nick Cooper
Hello, The runway lights are controlled by objectflow and they are not on all night. They switch off at 2200. Have a look at the real NZQN flight times. By the way, if you are using the Time preview function in P3D to test this, the lights do not work as intended, to test correctly, the time must be set. NZFlyer
Thanks Nick. That explains it. Set time to 21:30 and all tested fine for me.
