Doc_Z
I've seached but can't find a definitive answer. Can I move my base ORBX folder, not the backups, from the P3d v. 4.2 folder to an external drive and use a symbolic link?
Nick Cooper
The definitive answer is yes.

macwino
Just wondering, is it possible to create a symbolic link for just the Netherlands folder or folders (I'm not at my computer right now so I don't know the Netherlands folder structure and can't be sure whether there's one or move such folders)? One of my SSDs has lots of extra space and I'd like to move only the Netherlands folders there.
Doc_Z
I think Nick said in another thread that is was better to move the entire ORBX folder.
macwino
That's not a viable option for me. But if that's what's required, then I'll just leave the Netherlands where it is.
sim123
with a couple of months we all need 2tb drives , because with UK,Wales and Scotland in progress expect 600-800 gb downloads when our small country already takes 77gb. hope that prices for 2td ssd drops 50% to keep it payable. That's if we want to go the UK, Wales and Scotland route with photoreal. I will not, but when PNW comes out in photoreal, I'll be at the front of the line, you can be sure!
