PAJN RWY light and PAPI

Thanks for the reply.

I did several approaches since purchasing PAJN .. never have seen the PAPI's

I can just barely see the red papi in your screenshot.

This is a real problem at Orbx PAJN.

 

I just purchased PAHO ... here is a screenshot taken just now ... no problem seeing PAPI on approach or on the ground:

And, the white runway lights look good also.

 

I now added a screenshot of P3Dv4 default LPMA (Orbx global).

I concur. 

The PAPI lights at PAJN are unacceptable in P3D and have been for years.  (A quick search nets posts as far back as April 2016)

They work in FSX, but they don't in P3Dv3 and still don't in P3Dv4.

 

The virtually imperceptible red dots in Nick's screen shot are not acceptable lights.  You can barely see them from the runway.

They are too dim to see on final approach and I cannot even tell if they change color (between red and white).

I took a series of screen shots on final and short final, but you really can't make out the PAPI anyway, which just illustrates the point that they don't work properly.

The PAPI are at least visible and function with this fix.

 

At night you don't even notice the lights aren't aligned until you are very close to them.

In daylight, you can see that they aren't perfectly aligned with the 3D boxes when you are on short final.  But farther out they look fine and you can actually see what color they are.
