dunninghamtravis
Hi there, I just purchased the FTX New Zealand South Island, I immediately noticed that textures are in the wrong place, water is turning into the grass and the who scenery is corrupted. This is also happening in ORBX North Island. (Screenshots were taken around Queenstown Airport NZ, ICAO: NZQN) System specs: Intel Core i5 6500 ASUS Strix NVIDIA GTX950 16GB DDR4 RAM FSX: Steam Edition Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Also, how can I find my order number? Doug Sawatzky
Hi, Thanks for all the good info, and I don't see any sign of the Orbx Libraries being installed, so first please apply the below procedure. Please install the Orbx Libraries which you can find in your FTXC3 circled in red in the example below image. Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then run the "Force Migration" option. Finally Click on the "Clear Temp" button. dunninghamtravis
Hi there, thanks for the help. I have updated libraries and will try the other things now. Will update you when that is done. Cheers, Travis Dunningham
dunninghamtravis
Okay so I tried what you asked, and installed FTX Global lights, however, there are lots of tiny black squares and the runway is 'sunken' down.
Doug Sawatzky
You will need to uncheck the DX 10 preview option in FSX to fix the black squares. And set your mesh resolution to 5m.
dunninghamtravis
Oh okay, thanks. And any idea for the sunken runway?
Doug Sawatzky
Try and set your mesh resolution to 5m.
dunninghamtravis
Alright, well I had my mesh on 1m, so I changed it to 5m but it still hasn't fixed.
Doug Sawatzky
There is also this below topic. You do have NZQN also installed....
Adam Banks
I'm intrigued as to why the entries at #10, #11 and #12 are blank <?>. Adam.
Nick Cooper
Hello Adam, if no one enters a title, then there is no title. One of the foibles of home made scenery library entries.
