active Textures issues in USA, Europe & Centralamerica

Hi again

 

I installed a few days ago the Open LC for Europe and England.

 

Tonight while flying from Munich 08th December I found my airport covered wirh snow, but all the surround is fall taxtures! If you continue flying a bit, then the scenery shows all covered with snow..

How did this happen? It is obvious that there has to be something wrong with the seasons or textures because it is perfectly defined, a straight line diviing winter and fall. There is no additional addons in the area but the airport, and the airport does show with snow. Besides I think in December there could be no more fall textures right?

 

 

Second case USA

 

I love flying from NYC to Burlington Vermont (as this was a trip I did last year) but all the way long from NY to Burlington I found darker water textures in the rivers

 

 

There are many more but I huess one is enough, here's the location:

 

Another strange thing, once I was flying in "fall" here the textures:

 

 

 

Everything but orange and yelow... plus the issue with the water texture.

 

And this is the worst case. I have a photo scenary for San Jose Costa Rica, Central america, but we have NO fall trees in our country, we are tropical, and see... orange trees all over!:

 

 

I don't think you need my pc specifications to solve textures issues.

Hello,

for the water colours, please untick frozen water in winter in the Vector control panel.

The other apparent anomalies could be the way that the simulator deals with seasons.

If I untick frozen water in winter, then I won't have that in Norway, Alaska etc (which I like) Is there any other way to solve it?

 

The anomalies in terms of season can't be fixed then?

Hello,

Norway and Alaska FTX regions have their own tick boxes for frozen water, in their control panels.

If you don't have the products, then you will need to tick the frozen box when you are flying

where the water would be frozen and untick it otherwise.

The feature has never worked as it should.

I'm still very concerned about the winter textures. As above issue in Germany I just bought Seattle City X (beautiful) just played the day December 10th without touching anything and the sceneray shows snow, winter textures but not Orbx textures , they remain the same!, please take a look at the pictures. I doubt it is a matter of the simulator as all addons do change to winter but not your ground textures ... Could someone at Orbx check this? please.. I quality is important to me, that why I0m buying everything I like of Orbx.

in the upcoming patch from Seattle X they will change the seasons so that winter textures are displayed only in January...

I don't think you should, as I read it, the proposed update to Seattle X will solve the "problem".

I have some pictures of lake Tahoe in December, just wanted to ask if the still green textures in some areas  in winter are correct?

 

 

 

 

Also is there any way to make the clouds effect on the lake less blockey? more real /soft...
