hanss
All, I found the attached scenery anomaly at Zurich airport. N47.27,51 E8.34,34. The road traffic is wobbling on the road. The sim is P3D v4.1. Regards Hans
Jon Clarke
Is this default textures, FTX OLC EU and FTX Vector, or what? Looks like your roads are not showing properly as cars seem to be going over grass. If you have Vector have you enabled the Roads & traffic in the Transportation options in the Vector AEC tool? Nick Cooper
Hello, I can replicate this if I add FsGlobal mesh. default mesh FsGlobal Ultimate mesh. and for the record, the recommended FsGlobal 2010 mesh
hanss
Thanks Nick, I don't have FS Global Ultimate mesh, but FSGU NG. The result seems to be the same. I will contact Stephan and see whether he can help. The same sort of anomaly occurs near the airports of EVRA and EVLA. See my other report on EVLA on this forum. hanss
To-day I ran an Prepar3D v4 upgrade of the FSGU NG with the same result. Nick, you say FSUG 2010 is recommended for Prepar3D v4? Now there is an update I would guess not any more. Whatever, it still leaves me with the scenery problem. Regards Hans
Nick Cooper
Products have to be developed to fit a standard mesh. FSUG 2010, as you describe it, is the recommended mesh for all FTX products across all platforms. Adding a different mesh that has not been tested can have unintended consequences, what you see is one of them.
hanss
Hi Nick, Understood. The upgrade was too early then, both for FSX and P3D v4. I assumed that the FSUG products would be synchronized with FTX. However that seems not to be the case, pity. Thanks for making the problem clear. hanss
Hello Nick, I used the new Pilot's AFM2 RC2 for LSZH and EVRA (Riga) and the problem has been solved. The previous, wrong, scenery of EVRA had little hills in the background. Regards Hans
