D3stiny
Hello, was trying to make a flight in Alaska, and i'm actually meeting an elevation pb with Valdez. Im using FTX Global, Vector, OpenLC NA, Alaska South and Valdez. No mesh installed. Tried to reinstall -> same issue. Any idea when the pb is coming from ? thanks for help
Smudger
Hello, You appear to have 2 versions of Valdez, judging by your screenshots.
D3stiny
The only scenery I use for PAVD is the ORBX one. Well tried to spot at another airport in Alaska (PACV) and I m having the same issue. Could it be a wrong library insertion of Alaska ?
Marcus Nyberg
Did you run Vector and the Airport Elevation Corrections?

Marcus Nyberg
Hmhm, happen to have MyTraffic? Or that your insertion point is, as you suggested, incorrect. In FTX Central, go to settings and check "FTX Entries should be inserted below" and try to set that at the top and see if you get the same results? D3stiny
Not im not using any traffic. I reinstalled my full ORBX recently and by the fact the scenery.cfg is trash. Im almost sure insertion point are wrongs but not sure in what order i have to make them work. Can i share my scenery.cfg ?
Marcus Nyberg
FTX Central sets the ORBX entries in the order they should be. If you have an incorrupt scenery.cfg I guess stuff can act differently, but I would guess main problem in that case would still be where in the stack it ends up, which can be set in FTX Central as I mentioned. So no need to send the cfg.
D3stiny
Sorry but im almost sure it should not look like this :
Marcus Nyberg
No that is not correct. As I suggestd, please try and open FTX Central -> Settings and change the insertion point to be at the top.
D3stiny
Better but not perfect. Something is still wrong in the order. I have shadows but no objects for some planes and buildings.
Nick Cooper
Hello, Your scenery library entries are still all in the wrong place. Would you revisit the Insertion Point tool and reset it to look like this Then click on Save and see if it is any better. The order should be, from the top All your non-FTX scenery Your FTX scenery Open LC
