AB1
I have squares of water on land terrain around Toronto Canada. I replaced the terrain cfg and unticked the frozen surface in FTX Global Vector as suggested in prior postings. I still continue to have morphing texture as shown in the photo. Additional thoughts on addressing this terrain texture issue. Thanks!
Doug Sawatzky
Hi, Do you have FlyTampa Toronto installed? Cheers Doug
Nick Cooper
You don't say but if you have Open LC NA, try deleting its ORBX\User documents\Versions text file and let FTX Central check the files over.
AB1
Thanks for the quick response...I do have Fly Tampa Toronto/Pearson Int'l ( CYYZ) installed but I removed it and the texture issue still exists.
Nick Cooper
Since you still don't say, I see you do have Open LC NA.

AB1
I deleted Open LC NA as Nick suggested but still get morphing texture. Is there file corruption with Fly Tampa Toronto?
Nick Cooper
Did you also do this? Quote Go to the FSX Scenery Library and disable "FlyTampa-Toronto_LC"
AB1
I disabled Fly Tampa Toronto LC and CYYZ which did not solve the morphing texture. Thanks!

AB1
After I disabled OpenLC NA 2 in FSX Scenery Library the morphing textures issue was solved. Will OpenLC NA 2 disabled have any effect on my textures elsewhere in FSX? Thanks!
Doug Sawatzky
Oh, maybe this time delete both Open LC NA, and Open LC NA1 .txt files from the ORBX\User documents\Versions folder and reinstall OpenLC NA again from FTXC3 and see what happens. AB1
I did as suggested and deleted both Open LC NA, and Open LC NA1 but the morphing textures came back. My FSX Scenery Library area only shows LC NA 1 and 2 no NA. I will like to know the effect of leaving LC NA 2 disabled as it seems to be the only solve for the morphing texture issue. Thanks! Doug Sawatzky
I can't see any harm in leaving it disabled, only you will see if you stumble onto something else in your flights. But does your FTXC3 show both openLC North America - Alaska/Canada and openLC North America?
AB1
I only have Open LC North America in FTXC3. Many thanks for the feedback!

CPCCEO
For the record, I was having the same issues with NA LC and Flytampa scenery. I deleted the "Open LC NA and Open LC NA1 .txt files" and reinstalled "FTX Global openLC North America" through FTX3. Then I unchecked/disabled the "../FlyTampa/Toronto_LC" in the scenery library of P3D V4. Now everything looks fine I did notice that when it reinstalled/rebuilt the openLC North America, it only added the ""Open LC NA" text file, not both "Open LC NA and Open LC NA1 .txt files"?!? I was wondering why there were 2 entries anyways, and if that could have any bearing on issues??! Anyways, that is exactly what I did and it fixed mine up Bruce
Don Gore
Hi I had the same problem in FSX. The quick fix is to go to the scenery library in FSX and uncheck the box that says "FlyTampa-Toronto_LC. Now the textures are fine. Cheers Don
AB1
Hi guys many thanks for the input as I believe we are all on the same page...Cheers AB
Nick Cooper
Perhaps. Strange that two did as was recommended and it worked, but you appear to be saying that you did as recommended and it did not work. Instead you disabled half the Open LC NA product? Or have I misunderstood something here and the topic is in fact resolved?
AB1
Excellent point Nick. Like Bruce, when I reinstalled the open LC North America, it only added the ""Open LC NA" text file, not both "Open LC NA and Open LC NA1. As a result, I thought disabling Open LC NA 2 in FSX Scenery Library area and the morphing textures issue went away the problem was solved. I was not aware I disabled half of the Open LC NA product. If that is the case my morphing texture issue was not solved. Thanks!
Nick Cooper
If they are still there, please carefully apply the same fix as the two customers have used. If it works for them, it should work for you.
AB1
I applied the fixes of both Bruce and Don and reinstalled Fly Tampa-Toronto and Montreal with Open LC NA 2 enabled which solved my morphing texture issue. I determined the key additional step to address my problem was reinstalling Montreal which is still a mystery but it worked. Many thanks to all...Cheers AB
