M.Yang
Hi, I was testing scenery for an upcoming flight on this Saturday, and I have found this situation on the Island where Key West International Airport situates. (Please refer to the screenshots.) This issue is only present around Key West and the Florida Keys. The land textures are intact. I have desperately tried all the possible troubleshooting solutions but ended up the same. I have experienced this same kind of serious ground texture problem before, in OpenLC NA area, but over land, due to incorrect configurations. But this time nothing seems to work. Like I have said before I am preparing for a flight on THIS SATURDAY so if you can provide me with a solution ASAP it will be very much appreciated. Thank You. Lee H
Try uninstalling North America LC, then re-install it from scratch, and make sure your ORBX layers are correct in the scenery cfg
Doug Sawatzky
Hi, Also, please apply the below procedure. Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then run the "Force Migration" option. Finally Click on the "Clear Temp" button. Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning. Cheers Doug

Cheers Doug Tried as instructed. No luck. Everything is still the same This is the status of my scenery Considering that the other areas' ground textures are intact, should I try to reinstall OpenLC? Otherwise what's the next step? Regards
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, the question is what are scenery areas 18 and higher? If you have a scenery add-on for Key West active that includes landclass files then that may well explain the issue, especially if it's localized as you describe. Cheers, Holger
Nick Cooper
Hello Rather than reinstall OpenLC NA, go to ORBX\User documents\Versions and delete FTX_OLC_NA.TXT and FTX_OLC_NA1.TXT if you have it. Open FTX Central and OpenLC NA will show as not installed. Install it and all the files will be checked and replaced if necessary.

I did this for a similar but seemingly different problem with textures added around a user developed airport. It corrected my problem perfectly. Thanks!!!
