hanss
All, When flying from Anchorage to Iliamna airport I came across weird squared ice sheets. I am sure they are not correct. position of picture taken: N59.47.76 W153.53.81. Regards Hans
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, in the Global Vector control panel, tab "Water Features", uncheck the "Frozen Surface" feature. The feature to automatically display ice on water bodies depends on the default seasons control file. During the transitional months that control file has those unfortunate "shotgun" transitions where adjacent tiles alternate between winter and non-winter (you can see that pattern on the land surfaces too). Thus, this feature of Vector really only works as intended during the middle of the winter. Cheers, Holger
hanss
Hi Holger, Thanks. Good to know that this is the reason and not some mistake by me. Will this be solved in the future? Regards Hans
Nick Cooper
Hello Hans, As Holger has explained, it's a problem with FSX that has always been there and as there is no FSX development it will not be fixed.
