Problem downloading Open LC

I have the same problem, just purchased FTX Global and I am unable to download the product nobody respond from FlightsimStore.

 

Obviously I have my registration code received by email but I cannot download the software, this is very annoying.. can a link be provided to us to solve this issue? with all respect you promote your product and when we click BUY it takes us directly to flighsimstore it is not our fault that their servers are not working.. you should provide a link to us to get the required .ZIP files so we can use the product.

 

I am starting to think that it was a mistake to spend my money on this..

Hello Simbol and welcome to the forums.

While I accept that you are frustrated and annoyed, this is not the place

to vent your anger.

The Flightsim Store clearly has problems with its servers and apparently with

answering support queries and e mails.

While it is the only place where FTX products are sold, it is a retail outlet and

not part of this organisation.

There is nothing that I or the FTX staff can do to solve their problems and I

would ask you to be patient.

For what it's worth, I am also a customer there and though I don't need to, I am

also unable to download any of my FTX products from my account page.

Other products that I have purchased there do not appear to be affected.

I am not venting anger, I am just requesting to receive the product I purchased. Now I work on IT as a developer and network administrator so I am 100% sure that people at ORBX have a copy of the binaries that are actually distributed trough flightsimstore since they are the owners of the software.

 

It would be unreasonable to ask ORBX customers to wait weeks until they repair their servers (if they ever do), They can email a link to us very fast, after all they are hosting patches, libraries and lots of Scenery directly on their web-servers so it is not rocket science what we are requesting really.

With all respect Nick...FSS may not be part of the ORBX organization but they are the vendor of choice. ORBX cannot simply walk away from this issue. Maybe a little pressure from developer to fix this maybe in order.......Doug

We understand that you cannot download them either, however every time that the developers from ORBX made changes they need to send these to Flighsimstore so they can re-distribute the new installation files so clearly the developers are the right people to address this problem.

 

Users have been waiting already for days, so clearly flightsimstore is not addressing the issue.

No, I meant that I cannot download from the internal Orbx links to

the files that you refer to either, not the Flightsim Store links.

I agree, clearly no one is able to contact the FSS, so at the moment

DVDs are not an option either.

I am not being awkward here, I have shared all the information that I have

but it seems I do not have enough information.

Just to keep everyone on the loop I received this email last night from FlightSim Store:

We acknowledge that there is problem with the server at the moment and are trying to fix it as quickly as possible.

We thank you for your patience and will advise when your order will be available to download
