addman
Ok, so I just did a flight from KACV Cordova to CYXY Whitehorse with ONLY FTX Global, Openlc NA and FTX Global Vector installed. No other terrain or mesh add-ons. Everything looked great until I approached CYXY Whitehorse where there were all these mini-plateaus dotted around Whitehorse. The one thing they all seem to have in common is that they have a small body of water on top of each one of them. I reckon this is a Vector glitch? They kind of ruin a otherwise very lovely landscape. Just thought I'd report. Cheers!/Andreas
Nick Cooper
I can only see these if I disable SAK, which I see you own. Perhaps you will not see them either if you install or activate it?
addman
Maybe so, I don't have SAK installed atm, just reporting what it looks like with global+vector+openlcna.
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, Global Vector's fixed lake elevations don't work well with just the default terrain mesh; see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/102356-geographical-representation/ Cheers, Holger
Nick Cooper
Clearly not. I suppose it could be viewed as a partial installation without mesh and perhaps it should be added to the product page that not only does it require FTX Global but also it requires an enhanced mesh product. addman
Just tested with FreeMeshX North America and problem seems to be gone and the whole area looks much better defined. What a difference! I'm sure FS Global is just as good but as far as freeware goes, FreeMeshX is great! Thanks guys!/Andreas
