EasyPC
Hi, Please take a look at the attached screenshots and tell me what I am doing wrong. Spent hours yesterday re-reading manuals and searching forums trying to find an answer. Relevant installed products (all up to date) are FTX Global Base, FTX Global openLC Europe, FTX Global VECTOR, FTX EU EGHI Southampton Airport. Many thanks, Peter. TigerTigerM
Try putting in the Scenery Library : FTX on top, OLC below it, then rest. TTM
EasyPC
I thought that the problem might be unique to England/Europe so I tried a short flight in the USA with the following results. These problems have only started since installing OLC NA (FSS0505828). The water textures seem to come and go as illustrated by the 3rd and 4th pictures which were taken with the simulator paused. Would really like some help with this please. Tried your suggestion TTM but same thing. Nick Cooper
You might try refreshing your terrain.cfg file. Here is the topic that explains what to do.
EasyPC
Many thanks Nick (& Holger), that did the trick. I'm sure I read that post when searching the forums but why I didn't connect with it I don't know, yet another senior moment I guess. If you are ever in the Richmond/Leyburn area of North Yorkshire I'll buy you a pint (you look the sort of person who would enjoy a pint of bitter), I would make the same offer to Holger but he lives a little to the West of Yorkshire I believe, so far to the West it's almost East. Once again many thanks. Peter
Holger Sandmann
Hi Peter, glad to hear you've got it sorted and many thanks for the kind words and invitation! Next time I paddle across the Bering Strait I'll give you a heads-up; hopefully the Silk Road is well marked... Cheers, Holger
