KTEX & FTX Central

I'm about to finally make some flights around KTEX.  But what should I set FTX Central too?

I have Central Rockies, Northern Rockies, & PNW.

Is KTEX part of those areas?

Should I set it to North America or Global?

Will it even make a difference?

Thanks ORBX for some really excellent products.

And thanks for your always excellent support.

Best regards,

Jack

Hi.

Technically it is a Global airport as it is outside all of the current regions.  Probably best and easiest to set FTX Central to Global - Hybrid mode.  That way you can also fly in and out of the other regions and they will appear as intended.  I pretty much just leave mine set to Global - Hybrid mode now, unless I'm installing something inside one of the specific regions.

No you can just use the hybrid mode.  Hybrid mode displays all of the main features of the regions and is completely compatible with airports in both individual regions and FTX Global.  That's what I meant above, you can use it when flying between Global and specific regions.  There's more info on Hybrid mode in the FTX Global user guide.

Cheers,
