From memory that is correct.  There are no parking spots due to the nature of the multi level airport, with sloping aprons, taxi ways etc.  I think using a regular AFCAD to supply parking spots would have required the airport to be flat.

Correct, I removed the 2 parking spots as we cannot get them to work in P3Dv3 reliably. The Control Panel has the option to enable those two parking spots if you want, but be aware that they may not work and you will appear underground.

As Scott said, this is due to the nature of the airport model, so the only two reliable start positions are the runway starts.
