BeaverDriver
G'Day, I'm attempting to comply with the new signature rules, but when I put any order numbers in there (besides my name), it says I'm not following the guidelines. I believe it says I'm taking too many lines, but I reduced the order numbers to one line (abbreviated and only selected 3), plus my name on the other line. It says I'm not complying. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks.
chumley
Mine is line one - name only, line two - one order number
RHaas
You need to clear out all the empty space in the sig box using your cursor or delete key until it is at the end of your sig.
Nick Cooper
...and now that you have, please put one order number back in. Thank you.
Guest
My problem is, I can't find the place to edit my signature! I thought iy was in my 'profile' but it appears not. Please point me in the direction. Thanks. John
Nick Cooper
Top right, John, click on your name, then account settings, then select signature.

Nick Cooper
Hello John, Do you want all those order numbers, if not I can edit your signature for you? I would suggest leaving just one order number, your name and the picture
Guest
I think I've done it now Nick. If not I'll be grateful if you will do it for me especially as I think I've lost the picture. Many thanks. John
Nick Cooper
You have done it John but I can't get the picture back.
Guest
Never mind Nick. The picture was from way back when there probably weren't so many of us. As long as I'm legal now. All the best. John

Rimshot
John, Nick; how do you guys manage to get three lines in you signature? I'm trying to sign with my name, underneath the FTX customer logo and beneath that my spec. Just like your signature Nick. However, I can't save it because I have to many lines...
Nick Cooper
It probably won't save because you haven't put an order number in the order number box. Do that, add your second line and it should be fine.
Rimshot
No go Nick. I've added an order number to my profile. But how does that affect my signature? I still cannot create a signature as the one you have... Edit; is it the size of my ftx customer image?
Nick Cooper
You should be able to edit the second line now and have it accepted. The customer image is within the rules.
Rimshot
Unfortunately I still get an error. I change the text 'greeting here' you've added to a greeting I like; 'Cheers, Bert'. But when I click save I still get the warning I've used to many lines...
Guest
Despite what Nick said, could it be because your picture is too big? The 'FTX Customer' logo I mean? John
Nick Cooper
I found an extra blank line, Bert. I have edited it as you wished but if you want to change it it should now work.
Rimshot
I thought I had removed all the blank lines. But all is good now. Thank you Nick! Edit. That's what I thought too John. But there was still a blank line I missed... But I still can not edit my signature the way I want to. I want a smaller pic, size 200 x 60 just like yours. So all I did was doubleclick the image and resized to 200 x 60. Nothing else. And guess what; when I try to save the signature I again get the error that there are to many lines. Pfff Could you resize the picture for me Nick? Thanks

sightseer
In the past we were told to list all product order numbers that we expected support for. the new rules say to limit sigs to two lines and to include at least one order number. I see that there is a place in 'profile' for an order number. Does it matter which order number we choose? do we put it in both places or is it OK to just put it in the profile location?
Rimshot
Hi Dave, actually mentioning only one order number has always been enough. And it doesn't matter which one you choose.
sightseer
thanks, Bert. Do you know if its OK to only put the order number in that new place in 'Profile'? theres a place for it now and i dont remember it being there before.
Nick Cooper
Yes, that's where it should be really but not everyone's profile has the space for it.

Agustin Castro
Please, I do not understand this (I think, because of language)... I have three ORBX producs, Global, Vector and Europe LC... Have I write in my signature the three order numbers or only one of them is enough ? Sorry,... but, really, I can not understand well this and I would like to do it correctly. Regards! Voyager
Just one enough. With it the staff can access your shopping register and so verify the others. Voyager
