  1. Come visit 1929 Transcontinental Air Transport (TAT) and see how TAT formed the first airways airline passenger route across the USA using Ford Trimotor aircraft and innovative systems for flying and for passengers. Called the "Lindbergh Line" it involved 2 days of combined travel by air and train. This Part 2 video covers Waynoka to Columbus. Part 1 covered Los Angeles to Clovis. Clovis to Waynoka was by overnight train, as was Columbus to New York/Washington DC. Cheers.

  2. Come visit Nadzab (just outside Lae) in Papua New Guinea, and associated areas, and see how American and Australian paratroopers carried out the 1st successful airborne operation of WW2 and one considered to be the best "text-book" example of an airborne op. Also see the massive air-base they built at Nadzab to help take the war towards Japan. Orbx mesh for PNG in MSFS please! Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

  3. Come redo the1921 record flight of famous Australian aviator, Francis Briggs, using his own words, in his De Havilland DH4 biplane from Melbourne, Victoria, to Alice Springs, the remote, outback, red-centre of Australia. This was the 1st flight ever to Alice Springs. This video is Part 1 of 2. Using Orbx scenery for Adelaide. Cheers.

  4. Ok boys, are we simply trying to help the OP or not. I found @renaultpost interesting in that he found an audio file was the problem. Have seen other threads/posts where anti-virus software was the problem. Don’t know why MSFS is so sensitive to other software. But it does seem to answer the question as to why some experience crashes and others do not. In my case, I have a very simple, clean basic system (but with lots of MSFS add-ons) and virtually no crashes.  Cheers.

I used to fly out of Tyabb back in the mid '60's. dirt runway; nothing around it. Amazed at the growth and sad the council allowed home construction so near to the airport.

Hi @MGC. There is a pretty active, but small, anti airport group, but overall the community supports the airport.  Recently a rather crazy Council Mayor issued notices that the airport was not properly licensed etc and eviction notices were sent to the several dozen tenants!!! After a long and costly battle the Council lost and, I think, had to pay costs.  More recently, a new large housing development right next to the airport was opposed by the community and the airport, and the Council subsequently did not approve the development. But I guess the developers will appeal. It’s a shame that there is any hostility at all to the airport because it is so pretty and does so much for the community - police, ambulance and fire fighting aircraft all use the airport, so much money is raised from airshows etc and donated to local causes, a free picnic ground and viewing area is provided, etc etc etc. You should buy a copy of their latest calendar which includes some historic pictures!  Cheers.

  6. Thanks Anna, nice update.  Just one Important point about your movies/Netflix analogy. You made it sound like just a timing reason for buying those add-ons. That would not be a good enough reason for me because I would be prepared to wait (finances etc). I buy them because I thought they would be significantly better quality than what comes out in a WU, especially since you then improve them further after the WU. Am I wrong?  Cheers, and thanks again.
