  1. And right after your birthday! Great! My MSFS must be miraculous because I have had so few problems since Day 1 whereas so many others continue to report probs. Hope its fixed sooner rather than later. Cheers.
  2. Cheers Aussieflyer from another aussie flyer who is only 12 years behind you. All the best. Frank.
  3. A Pacific Southwest Boeing 727 Airliner & a Cessna 172 collided mid-air near Lindbergh Field, San Diego in September 1978. The Boeing was on downwind to land & the Cessna was completing ILS practice. All on board the aircraft died, along with some on the ground. The aircraft were destroyed, along with houses on the ground. As is common, there was a chain of events leading to the disaster, but one stands out on its own. Come see how such a thing can happen. Hope you find this interesting. Cheers.
  4. Hope for very many more for you Iain. Cheers.
  5. Come join me in the recently updated Spitfire to Narvik in remote North Norway and see how the Allies beat Germany, for the fist time, in 1940, albeit only for a short time. Learn how the Battle of Norway/Narvik led to so many other military firsts. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  6. Australia is a relatively flat country, but its highest mountains, the Snowy Mountains, are beautiful to tour & fly over. In this video we visit, in summer, Australia's highest airstrips & sealed-runway airport (with airport charts) & Australia's highest mountain, Mt Kosciuszko. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  7. Come visit KCLE Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland, Ohio, USA & learn its surprising history of aviation firsts. Enjoy the ride in a DC-3 & a side visit to Cleveland City & its lake-side airport KBKL Burke Lakefront (a bit like the old Chicago Meigs Field). Hope you enjoy.
  8. In this video we replicate YouTuber Missionary Bush Pilot's flight from KPGA Page Municipal, Arizona, to backcountry Fry Canyon & Eagle City , Utah, in his new Kitfox, adding some extra sights of our own along the way. We take YouTuber Trent Palmer's "FreedomFox" Kitfox which is available in the MSFS Store. We fly across Lake Powell & along the Colorado River, across the Arizona - Utah border, with absolutely stunning scenery. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  9. Come visit Outer Banks, Kitty Hawk/Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, & Huffman Prairie, Dayton, Ohio, where the Wright Brothers conducted the world's first successful sustained powered flight & produced the world's first practical aeroplane. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  10. Hi xxd09. It is not in MSFS as an airport, and there is no freeware or payware. I had to find it in Google Earth and then mark it on the World Map in MSFS. Fortunately, the photoscenery in MSFS is so good that you can make out the airstrip. Cheers.
  11. Are you a fan of YouTuber Missionary Bush Pilot and his incredible flights in a Kodiak in Papua New Guinea? Well, he has moved to Kingman, Arizona, USA & purchased a Kitfox for outback/backcountry flying. Come see his first adventure replicated in MSFS. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  12. In June 1976, following an aircraft hijacking & holding of hostages at Entebbe Airport, Uganda, Israel undertook a daring military airbourne raid using C-130 Hercules aircraft to rescue the hostages. Come see how they did it & how successful it was. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  13. Ukraine has a very old & strong aviation history with many airfields, manufacturers, educational institutions & museums. Come with me in the Ukraine Air Force-liveried McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Super Hornet to see some of these sights & learn their history. Let's hope that the current war is over soon & that Ukraine regains its rightful borders & place in aviation history. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
  14. What a nice unexpected surprise! Thanks everyone. Had a great day with the family with lunch at the Pancake Parlour. Amongst other gifts, the home economist (wife!) said I could spend up to $100 on payware for MSFS. Done in about 5 minutes with Orbx and MSFS Marketplace sales!!! Cheers.
  15. Come visit the beautiful Scottish Highlands & learn about the mysterious WW2 crash that took the life of Prince George (Duke of Kent) & 13 others. Visit several WW2 airfields & seaplane bases, & learn a bit about anti-submarine underwater electric cables & early nuclear facilities. Enjoy the beautiful scenery too! Cheers.
  16. AYNZ Nadzab (Lae). Great WW2 history - see my video https://youtu.be/23oIEsTZp90 1975 - me and other engineers re-built the old WW2 strip to international standards as a gift to the newly independent PNG. Did not have my PPL then, but sat alongside pilots in a Fokker Friendship F27 to test navigation aids, airport lighting etc. So many approaches at different angles of elevation and azimuth, I got as sick as a dog! Cheers.
  17. Join me in a DC-3 to visit Heritage-Listed Felts Field in Washington State, USA. What a beaut old airfield with still existing heritage buildings & structures! See some surrounding sights as well. And have a go at a vintage aircraft & automobile quiz at the end. Sincerely hope you enjoy, because that's the aim. Cheers.
  18. Yep, as shown on the map, but they are close, hence “corner” rather than just corner in the video. Lots of literature refer to the area loosely as corner. But you are correct of course. Cheers.
  19. In this video, set in the "corner" of central Australia where 4 States/Territories meet (Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia & New South Wales), we will land at 3 pubs, Touch & Go at 2 oil/gas fields, & overfly 5 homesteads/stations. We will also overfly one of the many Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) emergency road airstrips. Come join me in the popular 1935-1950s military pilot trainer, the North American SNJ-4, also known as the AT-6 Texan & the Harvard, used by over 40 countries. I hope you enjoy the trip. Cheers.
  20. I have had several good experiences with Scorptec, but there are lots of others including online. Cheers.
