Rob, it’s simple if you have UTL. Copy over the folder 4.5’s in Add-Ons to v5 and bam, it works flawlessly.
Thanks Jack. The Global AI that I bought can be installed into either v.5 or v5 too. Either way I now have nice looking AI everywhere so I'm a happy flyer!

Installed last night and so far I like it a lot. Didn't know it was available 18 months ago and not nearly complete enough to be worth the money.

Thanks again Craig. I did spend over an hour getting to grips with AIG but in the end the "one-click" solution won me over. Have to find something to spend money on, this Covid stuff has shrunk my world a bit. Thankful for flightsims.

Thanks Craig! I did take a quick look at it but balked at the price, at least until I move more and more into P3Dv5. Still waiting on some scenery updates first. I don't like losing some of my paid for aircraft that aren't working in v5 but I have enough to play with now, esp with some A2A aircraft. I don't really fly all that much except for approaches while testing, but I do enjoy the AI flights adding to the airport realism. Really miss that part. Thanks again.
Edit Just bought it. Now the momentum toward v5 is picking up speed. lol

Hi all,
I miss my AI traffic in P3Dv5. Scouring the internet and looking at what's out there leaves me more confused than when I started! Are there any good AI programs out there, either free or pay, that work with P3Dv5 and are are worth the money of payware?
Thanks for any help
Cheers

Glad I stopped by today. Get well soon Terry. I'll also say a prayer for your wife to have you stuck in the house.
Hope everyone weathers this storm in a good way.

ha ha Ok, my turn. My Dad, who is mostly deaf told this one to me.
Two old guys were chatting when one said to the other "these new hearing aids are wonderful. I can even hear the birds chirping now!" His buddy says "that's great Jack, what kind is it?"
Jack replies "O, about 6:30"

Thanks for the memories John. For me the times were a bit different, but still the bands, the girls, the courtesy to all were the norm. Met my future wife when I was 16, her 15.

Thanks John! Just got it all working and used your preset. Started at EGFF in TE GB at 20 frames. Flew around to confirm a consistent 20. Then loaded the TwickVR settings and saw my frames to to 30 with airport in view, 38 flying a circuit. Half again as many frames added is certainly a nice boost!

First Flt Sim Expo for me and it was amazing. Orbx outdid itself in every way. Had a great time working at the Orbx booth on Sat and Sun, meeting all the team, seeing all the other vendors, and interacting with many simmers from all around the world. Here's a pic of the hotel itself and one of a simmer taking the controls of an Orbx TrueDeck Panel by Flight Velocity. (checking my bank now so I can get one!)

As a new XP users I'll give it a try too John, thanks. As for your AFS2 dream, well we have to conceive before we can achieve, right?

A good friend and a tireless developer. Will be missed greatly. Neil got me into beta testing when the N. Calif region was being developed. Since my daughter also lives in Lynnwood, I never missed a chance to stop by and see him and Marty (his wife) every 3-4 months. A perfect gentleman and great father. I'll be in Lynnwood this Monday and wish I could see him for one last time. Just shows you, cherish every moment. RIP Neil.

Thanks Wil, much appreciated.

Neil,
Can you take a look at KPDT? Doesn't show up in the AEC tool and has an elevation issue. I'm using FTX Global 2010 mesh

Thanks John. That's smaller then I thought it would be. I'm going to sign up for the subscription
Cheers

I echo your entire post Carlos. I'll use both for sure but only time will tell which one gets the most use. I'm looking forward to visiting Costa Rica in the new MSFS since my time there in 2016. Beautiful country and wonderful people.
I don't think either one will ever let me down as I'll enjoy each one to provide me with what I'm looking for on any given day. I will have to run all the sims anyway for testing purposes but that's ok..........I like 'em all.
