  1. Concurrent with the release of World Update # 7 today, we should see an Orbx created Fokker Trimotor.

Development appears to have been kept under wraps, so I am interested to deduce what has evolved & if historical liveries are included for an aircraft whose top view of the wing reminds me of a surfboard:)

  2. Due to drop 1/31/2022, this should be an interesting one & from the YouTube previews I have watched it looks like Orbx has been heavily involved.

If I was the Orbx Marketing Manager I would Flash Sale everything MSFS Australia as the region will be getting a lot of attention.:)

& a belated welcome back to Jarrad Marshall as Head of Indies.

I picked that up by stumbling into :

    Orbx.group

As well as all sorts of  material about the Company & its Executives & products, retired Accountants & Auditors with time on their hands can find a copy of the FY21 Annual Report to comb through,  in the Investors section.

Overall, a very informative web site.

Very interesting.  Did not know the DC-2 was available.

Worth every penny. From the UIVER team. Stacks up against M. Jahn DC-3, & J Visser involved.

Comes with 3 liveries, but Aircraft.cfg is set up with 40 liveries, which you can find as Freeware in flyawaysimulations site. Just copy the Texture file into the DC_2X main file.

Flies beautifully, elegant, but watch the engine temp, no Cowl cooling, so you can cook the engines if not careful.

Thank you Landon. I'm glad you liked my little excursion.

Thanks T. The airport is Aerosoft's Denpasar.

    Many thanks, buddy.

Many thanks, Gerold. Yes, it is :)

Thank you very much for your comment, John.

    Ah!

I keep forgetting the Partner Product's shot opportunities - it looked better than stock issue.

What do you mean about the Aerosoft A/C requirement? What is that?

Aerosoft have an 'equivalent' of Orbx Central, called Aerosoft One.

"(Aerosoft One is a client that can be used for installing and updating products, as well as displaying news and product information.)"

I understand that to get the Twin Otter via Aerosoft you need to go through Aerosoft One, & to get into Aerosoft One you need to be registered with Aerosoft, which essentially means opening an A/C with them.

    Go via Orbx, its simpler.

@TigerTigerM I just saw a post on AS saying they have given Orbx the files, I guess it's just a case of when

Well its about 2.44am in Essendon.

Say they arrive at work 9am, then read the Racing News , have a coffee, watch a few departures & arrivals.

About midday Essendon time they could push the button, so might see it later today EST.:)

    Hope so.

Curious as to how Orbx Central deals with the Aerosoft A/C requirement.

  7. A few shots of the Orbx partner, //42's, Fox2 at EG78, Outer Skerries.

This small airfield & environs are really well done & depending on the time of day, the light reveals & emphasizes different facets of the locale.

I believe EG78 had special treatment from Asobo, possibly Orbx had an input?

The short air strip was easily mastered by the Fox2 & I was able to land elsewhere in paddocks on the island, avoiding the stone walls.
