  1. Indeed, well deserved Rodger, congrats to the VIP status and thank you for all your interesting contributions on the forum. Cheers Ulrich
  2. I would like to fly again with Nigel Richards wonderful AVRO 621 Tutors in MSFS. In 2019 I got the permission to convert his amazing AVRO Tutor models to native FSX format. I really loved flying these beauties in FSX and P3D. Unfortunately I haven't heard from him since and unfortunately I don't have the skills to convert them into native MSFS format yet.

  5. My parents wasn't exactly the rich ones, we didn't owned a car and we didn't go on vacation. But in the summer time we almost went to a vacation camp for childrens, to the island of ameland in the netherlands. My uncle organized the camp together with the church. Three weeks boys' camp, three weeks girls' camp. My father was the camp leader and my mother helped in the kitchen. Later, I was sometimes also a group leader at the boys' camp. When I think about it, I think, the three weeks of the girls' camp was the most fun, in that time, i had my own room and my own freetime, my both sisters were in the girls camp and three weeks i could felt like a rooster in the basket. 6. A few years ago, I surprisingly had the opportunity to fly in a FUJI/FA-200 AERO SUBARU. When I jumped into the cockpit, the pilot asked me if I had any flying experience and I told him that I only knew flying from the simulator. Shortly after we left the ground, he said to me, well, then you can fly yourself and let go of the yoke and said, fly an airfield circuit and try to find the runway. We had a very intense conversation about flying and after thirty minutes, as I started to land, he said maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to do the landing himself, the scaredy cat. Ulrich
  7. I mostly played with LEGO and owned a few matchbox cars. Later I built a few airplanes, ships and car models from Airfix and Revell as long as my pocket money lasted, which not was very long. Cheers Ulrich
  8. I have built it completely myself, but unfortunately lost through a divorce.
  9. " The level of detail is mind boggling! " Indeed, Adam and amazing shots you made Cheers Ulrich
  10. On my many trips to Norway I once saw on the Lofoten Islands a huge moonfish right under our rowboat while fishing. On a fishing trawler trip I saw some sperm whales. On various hikes I often saw reindeers and some mooses as well as a group of musk oxens. At the coast I could see puffins, gannets and a sea eagle. In germany as a little child I once fortuitously saw a beluga whale, which had obviously got lost in the river Rhine. And of course some "ex misses" as well

  12. I think my cooking skills are not so bad and I have tried a lot recepts. At least all guests have survived so far. Mostly I cook out of pure self-defense because of my wife's cooking skills.
  13. I use MSFS and like the landscapes and the light. I like to see parts of the world that I could never see in real life, or I visit countries I have already been to. I like the variety of very interesting aircraft and their different flying characteristics. In general I like the peacefulness in the civil simulation, no wars or conflicts, no aggression, no paternalism or dictatorship, no suffering. I can relax with a nice flight just like I can relax with a good book or with nice music.
