  1. Wayne makes a good point about the seasons (which I forgot). Having said that, I do consider that the TE products offer the graphically best scenery in P3D.
  2. I think, once a good air traffic programme is released for MSFS, I will start just spending time in the control tower watching!
  3. Great shots Jack . The first one looks real!
  4. Thank you Martyn . Yes, a stock plane with a different livery. I use a few of the default ones for quick and easy flights.
  5. I actually stayed watching its arrival and departure for about 10 minutes. Sad but true
  6. Thanks Martyn . The detail is amazing. "The most distinctive feature of Lyon Airport is perhaps not directly related to the airport itself, but rather to the railway station that is connected to it. Gare de Lyon Saint-Exupéry, expertly designed by world-famous architect Santiago Calatrava, totally steals the show as passengers and airplanes arrive at the airport. It was inaugurated on 28 June 1994. It is shaped like a huge bird, with a total area of 29,800 m² (400 m long and 53 m wide) "
  7. Hi Espen I have both. EU England was the earlier release. True Earth GB is later and is more detailed. But it is more expensive and takes more disk space. I would suggest that you purchase True Earth GB. If you get TE GB, then EU England will not add anything to it.
  8. Glad that you liked them Jack .
  9. Many thanks Jack . Well my three parts include only one payware item - Digital Design LFLL which I purchased here from Orbx. Everything else is stock MSFS (apart from the freeware livery on the King Air). I think that Lyon Airport dominates my shots and is included in all three parts. A really first class airport BTW. I could have done it as one post (which was my initial intention) but I had too many images that I wanted to share. Hence the three parts.
  10. Thank you Calum . I took off at around 7.15am, so that helped.
  11. Thank you Jack . After a few weeks work, I am finally comfortable using the drone!
  12. Thanks Calum . It is an excellent airport. It even has a moving train. I only discovered it by accident!
  13. Thanks Landon . Very scenic indeed. Most areas around the Alps are worthwhile visiting.
  14. Thank you Landon . It's actually a real livery
  15. Glad that you liked them John
  16. Many thanks Landon . I too think a map or flight plan helps a lot.
  17. A great flight Jack. I always enjoy flying between those PNW airports .
  18. Well, my passengers wanted to stretch their legs after seeing Mont Blanc. So I selected the nearby airport of LFHZ Sallanches Aerodrome to land. It has a short runway, but I landed safely! In closing, a reminder of the amazing airport where we started - LFLL Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport.
  19. This second part covers the actual flight from LFLL to Mont Blanc .
  20. Mont Blanc (meaning "white mountain") is the highest mountain in the Alps and Western Europe, rising 4,807.81 m (15,774 ft) above sea level. The Mont Blanc massif is a mountain range in the Alps, located mostly in France and Italy, but also straddling Switzerland at its northeastern end. It contains eleven major independent summits, each over 4,000 metres (13,123 ft) in height. I took many screenshots on this flight (MSFS). So I have broken it into three parts. The flight is from Lyon to Mont Blanc and then to Sallanches. Departure is from LFLL Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport (Orbx partner Digital Design). The detail both outside and inside this airport is first class. It is the international airport of Lyon, the third-biggest city in France and an important transport facility for the entire Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. First a map to show where we are in the world
