Dieter
Will there be a new/updated "FTX EU NOR Coverage and Features Map.kmz" file created/published after these many new additional points of interest/POI included in the latest Norway SP1 update? Holger Sandmann
Hi Dieter, actually, the NOR .kmz file was updated though only in regards to the additional or adjusted lighthouses and the new photoreal harbour area in Kristiansand. I assume you're referring to the additional antennae? There are hundreds of them and it would be a lot of work to mark them all. We've placed all masts and towers taller than 25m listed in the official NRL database. If interested in their location it's probably easier to use the online maps of vertical obstructions referenced by user KAB here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/89163-suggestion-for-the-developers-of-norway-hazardsobstructions/ Cheers, Holger
Dieter
Holger, thanks for updating. Yes, you are right my question referred to the additional antennas. Now reading about the amount I agree that this would be too much to mark them all. I will have a look at the relevant page you posted, thank you. Amundsen
BTW: I am using skyvector.com for VFR-flights in Norway. Unfortunately there are not all navaids mapped, and some of them with incorrect freq.It would be great to get all and correct navaids into a KMZ-file (like the KMZ-files for FTX NA). Any tools to export/extract the navaids from stock AND ORBX-sceneries?
