I'm tested this with three different GA aircraft - A2A Skylane and Piper Cherokee + BeaverX. So called dia show take about 15-20 seconds and after that everything is ok but it's a little bit disturb. Holger Sandmann Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Hi Rolf, if you search these forums for "KORS frames" or similar you'll find a number of threads discussing fps issues in the area that may give you some pointers; for example http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/63468-what-to-lower-round-kors/ Usually, the best approach is trying to systematically isolate the cause. If you temporarily deactivate KORS in your scenery library menu and the issue persists then it's perhaps one or more other add-ons in the area. Also, since you're flying straight towards Seattle it may be an issue related to its objects or, if you're using AI traffic, all of that spawning at KSEA and then dynamic jetways moving all at once to connect to parked AI planes. I have no ideaabout when this problem started but I'm sure that last December I haven't problem like this. Yes - I use FTX NA GA AI Traffic V1.20 March 2014 - very nice free addon but because there is no solution I must live with this until someone will find some fix - mayby... Stewart Hobson Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 I also have the FTX NA GA AI Traffic installed and found that when I fly in this particular area, KORS, Skagit, Anacortes, etc., to leave the AI GA slider around 15-16%. Flying most other places in PNW, I can push the slider up to 30+% and not notice a big fps hit. But that whole area we're talking about is a notorious fps hog which everyone eventually notices if they fly there a lot. The area is beautiful and worth it to back off on the AI slider, imo. Stew P. Yes - I have AI Slider 50% - Ship & Boat about 30/15 but left they were they are because I found only those one place were I have problem. romoni Posted April 15, 2015 Author Share Posted April 15, 2015 One more observation. I returned back to Orcas Island because PAJN area is so bad weather all time but no more problem. Sceneries works very well and no any FPS drop. I started my flight using A2A 182 Skylane - flight plan: KORS-LUPEZ-PAE-EAT-QOBGE-KMWH Take off RW16 Heading 146 after take off... Well - about 100 feet above runway aircraft made suddenly odd move - it's border on left about 25 degrees. I made a couple hard move to right with my yoke to get correct my direction. There is no wind and I us AS Next. This happen all time as I take off from RW16 and only KORS. I think there must be gone something wrong with this nice airport addon.
