Blackrat
Hi I seem to be having a problem reinstalling my UK airports after the latest P3D patch 12944. I have EU England installed. I installed the Orbxlibs 150215 I installed Damyns Hall then Orbxlibs again I installed Shoreham then Orbxlibs again I ran Vector AEC correction I got the orbx update dll message so I updated and started P3D again. Now when I start I get: Also the scenery just won't play nice. Damyns Hall was the same both before and after running Vector AEC. Also taxiways seem a little out of place, and runway designations are repeated, I think this is Shoreham, not sure. What have I done?
Wolter van der Spoel
Did you run the ObjectFlow.dll, if not then please do so, this was adapted with the fsX SE and new P3D, hence it needs to be run to activate your "flow" objects in the sceneries
Blackrat
Hi Wolter Yes, I pressed the 'Run Once' button when the DLL Objectflow module box appeared but still getting the same problem this morning.
Blackrat
OK, more info. Still not working correctly. Here are a few shots with various files enabled ----------------------------------------------------------------- The first is P3D2 default: The next is with just OpenLC added, great improvement. Next, add Orbx EU England, ground still flat. Finally add EGML Damyn's Hall. Something wrong here... And another view of the same scene. I haven't got much hair left to pull out but what's left is rapidly vanishing. I've tried everything I can think of including reinstalling OLC, EU England, Vector and EGML. I know it's only one airport but problems are a magnet and I spend more time trying to fix it than enjoying flying elsewhere. Thanks
Rob Newman
By any chance are you running a 3rd party traffic addon? These often include "enhanced" airport layouts that wreak havoc on additional airport addons. If so, find the scenery library entry for that traffic package and disable it... alternatively, find the traffic packages location and manually disable any files relating to Damyns Hall (add ".OFF" to the end of any file containing the ICAO of Damyns Hall). Blackrat
Thanks Rob but that didn't work either. I have Traffic360, disabled the TrafficAircraft.bgl file but no luck there. It seems like an elevation problem to me, I'll keep searching for 'EGML' files and disable them one at a time.
koosaima
I'm having the same issue sadly, I was so relieved when I found someone else was having this problem. It's so frustrating, Damyns is clearly elevated by about 5 foot. This will no doubt be something to do with the vector mapping of the terrain or the patch. There must be a way to adjust the levels using a config file. or a "cleaner" way of doing this. Uninstalling and Re-installing doesn't seem to work and it's a huge pain in the A**. The only constructive thing I can say is that when you land on the runway you don't "fall through the floor" but it doesn't resolve wanting to take off at Damyns. Any thoughts on how to remedy this problem would be much appreciated
