Indonesia Mesh

Recommended Posts

Greetings.

Has anyone worked with this "Indonesia Mesh" (downloaded from http://sdrv.ms/18WCveF)? It's a series of .bgl files for 22 airports in Indonesia.  Prior to installing "sumatera_island_indonesia_v1_0", it was advised by its author to dl and install the Indonesia Mesh in order to avoid misplacement and elevation issues.  All well and good.  However the instructions for installing the mesh are in Indonesian.  Needless to say, I can't read it and don't want to proceed for fear of mucking up FSX.

Can anyone advise how to install this?  It might be as easy as collecting the 15 files in question into a folder named scenery, put that into another folder named Indonesia Mesh (or some such), dropping it into the AddOn Scenery folder, and then activating it the way you would activate any other addon scenery.  Sound reasonable?

Thanks for any help, especially from a sim flyer from Indonesia!  ^-^

Just paste the text into google translate     https://www.google.com/search?q=translate&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

But you dont need do to that as the folders are already set up eg the first mesh is in a folder called "Indonesia Mesh" inside that folder is "scenery" just add another folder (empty) called texture and then manually add it to your fsx library....thats how I will do it ,thanks for the heads up

better still take all of the bgl files out of all of the folders and create just one "Indonesia mesh" folder using the step above.  Pm me if you need more help

Hi Stew

Think about using the the translation function in Google Search, it also provides the translation for Indonesian too. You may also use the translation function from the Chrome.

Thanks, Zoran.  This sounds like a good plan.

Zoran,  I don't think your second method will work, since there are duplicate named files in the 15 scenery folders.  If you try to combine them all together, you risk overwriting them, or else confusing FSX as to which one to use if you keep the duplicates (I think...).  I think I'll go with your first suggestion.
