  3. Hi I had to disable FTX NA CRM 05 TO 80 Because sim wouldn't start Same with NRM O5 TO 08 Now I'm trying to reinstall but don't know what the corresponding scenery in central covers it
  4. Hi The Sode permission to load pops up every time I start the sim. That can't be right? Win 10
  5. Thanks but fsx is on a separate SSD The disc with Orbx is a hybrid sshd Sounds like I will need a reinstall?
  6. I still have the old hard drive loaded with Orbx. Anyway to just plug that in or do I need to start from scratch ? It's FSX SE
  7. Thanks Nic, I appreciate the feed back. It's pretty cheap so I will read that review and pull the trigger
  8. Hi Would the specs on this hard drive be OK for Orbx scenery storage.? I have FSX SE on SSD
  9. Tl Thanks I got central and can see all my products. Isn't there a button I just press and the scenery auto downloads?
  10. After 2 years away I'm back and ready to download my products but I can't see in central how to do that.
  11. Check your installation path again it should read like this but yours is very different C:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX yours C:\Steam\Steamapps\Common\FSX
  12. Guys, I have the work around going great and am installing all my ORBX sceneries. However there is a challenge regarding VECTOR AEC. Maybe somebody can advise on a further work around. The problem Vector installs perfect into the library automatically so thats good but it will not read from the FSX-SE scenery.CFG instead it will only read from the FSX scenery CFG. Currently Im copying the FSX-SE.scenery.cfg to FSX scenery.cfg and Vector AEC works. Is there a way to to get vector AEC to use FSX-SE .scenery.cfg automatically? I only have the Steam installed but created a FSX Boxed scenery folder for ORBX AEC Vector and Aivlasoft EFB workaround
  13. Are object flow and people flow the same? I have people flow in FSX-SE
  14. All good got it working now. Turns out notepad++ would not save the new settings so I edited with normal notepad and bingo.
  15. I actually deleted FSX but left the registry so I dont have second FTX Central. I think I should insert the FSX disc and remove FSX completely as I dont need it since most of my other add ons have installed into FSX-SE okay
  16. Luckily I have no hair left to tear out How is it possible to modify the registry and STILL have ORBX write to the orginal FSX,scenery.cfg and not into the Steam version Anyway thought I would post the mods I made just in case there is something dodgy. Maybe someone can shed some light or I may just need to be patient and wait for the official mod E:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX\ORBX\Scripts <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <FTX_Settings> <FSXRegistryKey>HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\microsoft games\flight simulator\10.0</FSXRegistryKey> <FSXRegistryValue>SetupPath</FSXRegistryValue> <SceneryCFGLocation>Microsoft\FSX-SE</SceneryCFGLocation> </FTX_Settings> E:\FSX-SE\steamapps\common\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\FTXCentral <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <FTX_Settings> <FSXRegistryKey>HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\microsoft games\flight simulator\10.0</FSXRegistryKey> <FSXRegistryValue>SetupPath</FSXRegistryValue> <SceneryCFGLocation>Microsoft\FSX-SE</SceneryCFGLocation> </FTX_Settings>
