Steve Walker
I have just installed Orbz NZNI and vertical lines appear either vertically or diametrically across the screen from buildings and dark objects. How do I remove these.
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Steve I attached a link that shows how to post a screenshot of what you see, and providing more info on your setup would be very helpful http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/38447-how-to-post-a-screenshot-on-the-orbx-forums/ Cheers Doug
Steve Walker
Here is a screenshot of the lines, I could not replicate the real bad vertical ones which cover 50% of the screen from the object to the sky.
petfy
You have ground shadows on while using DX10. Big nono.
Jethro VH-JET
petfy beat me to it. Hi Steve In FSX Do you have Ground shadows checked at all, if so go to FSX Settings>Display> Scenery tab, and uncheck "Ground Scenery Shadows"
Adam Banks
You'll find a few ships in Auckland and Wellington harbours do it too! It's a shame, as I think ground shadows around hangars etc. add a lot of atmosphere - even though they're a frame rate hit. Apparently the FSX code for all that is a total mess. We'll both need to go P3D for decent shadows! Adam.
