vonmar
Today I noticed hundreds of files not inside a folder on drive F (my second HD). They have AGN and BMP extensions. I think they are ORbx files because I recently installed Global Base (FSX and P3D). I did a screenshot to try to ID them. If they are Orbx what did I do wrong to get all these files alone outside a folder? What can I do to fix it?
Bruce Hamilton
If you told Global to backup, those are the default textures.
vonmar
Bruce, Thanks for the reply. In my first post I mention agn and bgl ... should have been AGN and BMP. I cannot recall if I selected a backup option ... but I must have. So, is it true all backups would not go inside some ORbx desiganted folder? What should I do ... would you suggest? BTW, default FSX or P3D textures .. or both?
Stewart Hobson
Put 'em in a backup folder and store them on a backup external HD.
Tim Harris
When you installed FTXGlobal it asks where you would like the backup put I have never bothered with the backup, its not like I would want to go back... if I do it will be for clean install
