Bruce Hamilton
Did you allow the installer to back up your default textures?

ikbenik
On your question 'FTX Global and FTX Vector lighter of heavier' --> I don't think you will notice any FPS drop, only the used space on your drive is slightly larger. I suggest follow steps if you want to reverse to default world-textures: 1. Select all texture-files of the selected folder whereto you have installed the backup. 2. Go to the folder 'Scenery' of your FSX or P3D main folder and go to the subfolder 'Texture' 3. Copy and let overwrite all selected texture-files of step 1 into that subfolder. NoLonger
Global doesn't make FSX heavier but Vector surely can, depending on the options you enabled. You can not disable Global, you can only uninstall and you can only restore the default textures during uninstall if you let the Global installer make a backup during install. I would never ever copy and paste those textures like ikbenik suggested! That would only complicate things and maybe even mess things up.
