Does Vector 1.1 still break AUSP4?

For those that have just made the purchase, does the new FTX Global Vector 1.1 still break AUSP4, in that vector will still corrupt swamp textures in coastal Queensland AUSP4 despite AUSP4 being higher in the scenery priority?

Not sure why you got that problem.  I never had any problems with Global, Vector and AU SP4 on my computer.  Not one.  And all the installations have been as per the FTX installers, no messing with configs and scenery layers, just installed each package and flew.

Two things to consider:

If your FSX install is in the program files folder as the FSX install points it by default, there's a higher chance of error.  I have mine set to C:\FSX.

If you haven't configured your UAC to offer the highest level of accessibility to all folders that FSX might write to, you will also have a higher chance of problems.

As I fly the east coast regularly, I have this post in my mind.

However, I now see that you can disable swamps in the Vector configurator. Hopefully this may bypass the problem.

Thanks for you quick reply.

Yes, Vector 1.1 "out of the box" still breaks some Australia textures. And I also experienced the elevation issues at YMML (which I solved with Jorge's tip). A bit disappointing, actually.

Deactivating the swamps brings things more back to normal, however.

Hi Bernd,

in the

thread I added another pic - because now I also saw drastic worsening of the textures south of Cairns. Yes, disabling the swamps in the control panel (or turning vector completely off, which is what I do to also get rid of the irritating elevation problems at Orbx-airports that have suddenly appeared with Version 1.1. - but weren't there with Version 1)  reverts things back to normal. It still lies somewhere around #170 mark of the scenery library.

Cheers
