John Bosch
What a tragic loss. I've spent many a thrilling afternoon watching Tom do his stuff over Temora. A sad, sad day indeed.
Guest Aussieman
Over the years I have been visiting the museum at Temora on flying days I got to know Tom very well. A nicer man you could not wish to meet. One of my mates is a volunteer there and would always give Tom a hard time, but being the jovial type he was Tom always took it in his stride. He would wait until he was in the air then he would give Thommo his payback. Always in good fun though. RIP Tom and condolences to your family and friends at Temora. Lost in Isaan
Shlt! I was only down there in June 2008 attending a 40th anniversary reunion at RAAF Forrest Hill where a tour of the museum was part of the itinerary. May he RIP and condolences to his friends and family.
Crusher
I remember seeing his wings on static display at Temora. The paint job on that Extra was something else.... For those who don't know what I am talking about, have a look at these shots with Tom behind the controls! Would have kept an aircraft detailer busy for a while.Ā http://www.aviationmuseum.com.au/aircraft/TMExtra.cfm

Pips
Sucha sad loss. I've lost count of the number of times I've stood on the concrete apron at Temora and watched Tom dazzle all and sundry at the end of each day's flying exhibit with his aerobatics. He has always looked in complete command, making that little Extra 300s literally dance across the sky.
